As performers, we are just like professional athletes; our job depends directly on our bodies and physical well-being.
I've been using these products since 2010 to help me maintain my weight and ensure I am getting optimum nutrition.
I love how convenient they are and how easy it makes it to ensure my body is getting exactly what it needs (especially when I am living on board ship).
I've also found that these products help my body to recover more quickly from my workouts (which is great when you're sandwiching your gym sessions between your performances).

Just because you can't go to your regular studio doesn't mean your practice has to suffer! This app has been such a lifesaver for me when I'm traveling for gigs. It comes preloaded with a ton of classes with different focuses and lengths. It also has a huge vocabulary of "blocks" and poses that you can choose from to build your own classes as well. They've got a free trial so you can give it a test drive before you decide to make the small investment (much cheaper than any studio you would ever go to) for the ongoing subscription.
This is my go-to resource for all things with regard to supporting the physical body and its functions through the powerful plant-medicine of essential oils. This app is the digitized version of the hardcover reference the EO community has been using for years. I love being able to just pull my phone out of my pocket and check in with this amazing tool from wherever I am. You can search by single oils, oil blends and conditions to see all of the best recommended uses. It also has some recipes for diffuser blends and other DIY goodies.
There are tons of great meditation apps out there, and Calm is no exception. Much like many of the apps on the market, they've got a bunch of great content in the way of guided meditations covering a range of topics and focuses some of which are available for free and some of which are available as in-app subscription purchases. These are great tools for somebody who is new to the practice of meditation. If you're a little more seasoned and are comfortable with "flying solo", one of my favorite features of this app is the "timed meditation" option. It's a countdown timer with a single gong sound to signify the end of your session. It makes for a very gentle and gradual finish to your sessions (rather than having to physically open your eyes and shut off the timer/alarm that's built into your phone). It also tracks your total sessions, mindful minutes and longest streak. It's fun watching those numbers rack up as you make this practice into a lasting habit.
